It's official: I really can't quit this show no matter how disappointed I am with one episode. All memories of last week's Gwyneth show are now completely forgotten.
Only Glee can make me almost cry (Finn's speech at his mom's wedding) and then laugh out loud (at Sue's tracksuit inspired wedding dress and "by the power vested in me by a website") within a matter of seconds. Glee may be inconsistent so far this season, but whenever it combines comedy with heart, the episode is sure to be a winner.

| Miss Hannigan, er, Carol Burnett as Sue's mother |
Seriously, this episode had all the things I love about Glee nicely wrapped in one almost-complete package:
- Sue was in fine comic and dramatic form (from calling Kurt "porcelain" with all seriousness, to marrying herself, to defending herself and her sister from their absent mother...I bet this episode will be submitted for Emmy consideration next year)
- Schu is severely underused this season but if it means having never to see Terri again, I'll take his reduced screentime. And I've said this many many times but I really love his voice and it was put to good use in Sway. Awesome.
- That's how you write an episode for a "special guest star". Don't make the episode all about him/her (ahem Gwyneth and Kristin Chenoweth's second appearance), just give him/her enough scenes to make the guesting all worth it. Carol Burnett was perfect as Sue's mom (although I will always think of her as Miss Hannigan)
- A cliffhanger ending! And I was truly surprised, even though I might have seen it coming.
The only thing which would have made this perfect is Rachel singing a solo. Of course.
One last thing before I do a round-up of Rachel's outfits: The day after the episode aired, the watercooler talk was mostly about the wedding march and how sweet and unique it was. Well, it was sweet but not exactly unique. I am 99% sure that wedding march was inspired by this Youtube viral video that was so popular last year (I can't believe there are some people who still haven't seen this):
Rachel's outfits this episode were all so cute, but this one is my absolute favorite. Both pieces are from Max & Co. So matchy-matchy:

Two dresses from Forever 21. It's a staple in her wardrobe:

Those bridesmaid dresses were all from the Jenny Yoo Shantung Collection. Rachel wore the 'Nina' dress:
