New Store Alert: a'postrophe

Spotted at the third floor of Glorietta 4, right in front of Food Choices (diagonally across from Gourdo's):

(Apologies for the picture clarity...all photos were taken by my phone camera)

I was drawn to the store because of the attractive display of accessories and knick-knacks.  It reminded me of the British brand Accessorize and the Portuguese brand Parfois, but with a more organized display.  The a'postrophe store is really cramped and tiny (about the size of my bedroom), but the merchandise was grouped in sections for easier browsing.

Here's the animal print section:

(I covet that zebra printed throw pillow at the top...but at P995.00 it's pricey IMO)

The black and white section:

There's also a floral print section which I couldn't take a picture of because shoppers were concentrating on that area.  I wonder why.  There's also a corner dedicated to colorful pop-art (they had this cool carved frame of Marylin Monroe's face...perfect decor for a modernized home)

I overheard from the salespeople that a'postrophe is a local brand owned by the same group behind Tickles.  Based on my quick survey, prices are generally lower than Accessorize or Parfois, but still not cheap cheap.  Because I seem to be incapable of leaving a mall without a shopping bag in tow, I ended up purchasing some things:

Printed hair twist-tie, printed eye mask and leather studded headband

This blog entry is dedicated to Gladi, who will love this store for sure.  Hey Gladi, you've been enabling me with all your write-ups on shoes and bags and whatnot.  I'm just returning the favor :)

  1. Wait Mel, I am browsing your photos and I am liking the zebra print throw pillow too. But I do not like it enough to pay PhP995 for it. Mahal-ia. If you like this store, you should also visit Simple Joys in Megamall sometime. Same people behind Regalong Pambahay. They have the daintiest knick-knacks.
