Dress a la Rachel

Remember this?  

Doesn't look familiar?  Let me refresh your memory:

It's the silk fan print dress from Forever 21, worn by Rachel Berry of Glee in the Sectionals episode!  The purple version is no longer available online, but I just saw it yesterday in the local Forever 21 store in SM Megamall.  Retail price is P1,275.00 (approximately US$29.00).  It comes in blue too:

The dress is adorable, but the material used is rather thin.  But I guess since we all can't sing like Lea Michele as Rachel, dressing like her is the next best thing.  Now all we need is a balcony to recreate this scene:

It's embarrassing how many times I've watched that scene.  The literal staging ("looking out of the window, staying out of the sun" LOL) and the Evita references are amusing.
