Unfortunately, that day hasn't come yet.
But for now, let me share my latest (and greatest?) find from Muji, the sponge soap dish!
It's looks like a normal sponge, but it's purpose is to hold soaps while not in use. The sponge absorbs the water and lets the soap dry without leaving a sludgy mess on your bathroom counter. No more melting soaps that stick to the soap dish!
The best part is that you can detach the sponge and use the accumulated soap to scrub on your face or body. This works best with organic soaps that melt easily, like Lush. (Honestly, the only thing keeping me from buying more Lush soaps is the fact that they melt so easily no matter what I do.)
My only gripe: the price! P155.00 (for the larger soap dish) and P145.00 (for the smaller one) is almost highway robbery for something that's essentially just a sponge. I am not sure if these kinds of soap dish are available anywhere else, but I hope some other store will sell a similar design because I'd really love to use this soap dish in all the bathrooms in our home. Maybe I should try Saizen?

That's a neat idea.
